GSIは、伝説の囲碁名人、呉清源（呉清源）に敬意を表して設立されました。革新的な教育プログラム、国際交流活動、イベント、地域社会への貢献活動を通じて、若者の囲碁の普及・育成に努めています。囲碁は、青少年の批判的思考力、問題解決能力、そして異文化理解を育み、ますます相互に繋がり合う世界で活躍するための力となる可能性を秘めていると信じています。私たちは、地域と国際の両方で、若者が囲碁を学び、共有し、関わる機会を創出することを目指しています。

School & Community Partnership Program

We assist local schools and after-school programs to establish Go class and train qualified Go instructors, helping the game’s culture take root and thrive in the community.
